How I work

1. silver bullets don’t exist.

If anyone tells you they have the trick that fixes screaming, sleep, sibling fights, or screens once and for all, please walk the other way. There is no single strategy that works for every child. There is, however, a wide toolbox, and a thoughtful way to choose among the tools in it. That's what we'll build together.

2. Real ideas. Real Time.

When you and I talk, you'll leave with a few specific things to try that week. Not a 47-step plan. Small experiments, fit to your actual child. We'll come back to it the next time we meet, see what happened, and adjust. Parenting is not a problem to be solved. It is a practice to be refined.

3. The relationship is the point.

Strategies matter. But the deeper goal is your relationship with your child. The strategies exist to protect the relationship while you both grow. I won't lose sight of that, and I won't let you, either.

What a session looks like

We meet for about an hour, by video or in person if you're local. You tell me what's hard right now. I ask questions. We pick a few behaviors or situations to focus on. You leave with a plan that fits your child and your life. Most parents come back two or three more times as they work through a particular thing. Some come back once a season. Some come back for years. It's entirely up to you.
